(July 18, 2013) - Cellcom has launched a new plan that offers shareable data for business customers. The Business Share Plan lets employees share data with up to 100 devices within the same business account. Cellcom’s Business Share Plan includes:

  • Unlimited nationwide talk and unlimited messaging
  • Mobile hotspot, basic or visual voicemail, caller ID, call waiting and three-way calling
  • Shareable data for all devices on an account on the same plan.

To build a Business Share Plan, businesses first select up to 100 devices and pay a monthly line charge for each device. The cost ranges from $20 to $40 depending on the type of device. Then the business chooses up to two data buckets ranging from 500MB to 100GB. Depending on the amount of data selected, each data bucket can be shared with a maximum of 10, 25 or 50 devices.

Cellcom recommends 1-2GB of data per smartphone on an account. A data calculator is available on Cellcom’s website to help businesses decide how much data they need. Customers can adjust their data allowance at any time without extending the contract.

Businesses are able to have some lines on traditional business plans and some lines on a Business Share Plan within the same account. Note that the data will only share with those lines on the Business Share Plan.
