Green Bay, WI (June 13, 2016) - Nsight Telservices is proud to announce its recipients of the 2016 Wisconsin State Telecommunications Foundation scholarship. Winners include Liza Leja (Oconto Falls High School), Ally Magnin (Oconto Falls High School), Cassandra Dumke (Florence High School), Alyssa Plemel (Niagara High School), Timothy Prestby (Pulaski High School), and Elena Garcia (Two Rivers High School).
A total of 33 high school students in the state received this award. Nsight Telservices selected each of the local students for the $1500 scholarship.
Nsight Telservices was also pleased to select Graham Welch to receive a $500 scholarship. He was one of seven students in the state receive this award.
The Foundation is part of the Wisconsin State Telecommunications Association (WSTA), which is a trade organization representing 70 telephone companies and cooperatives in Wisconsin. In addition to the 40 scholarships for graduating high school students, the foundation awarded five $750 scholarships to second-year students enrolled in Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College’s two-year telecommunications program.
Selections are based on financial need, desire to continue education and demonstrated ability. Since 1966, the Foundation has awarded more than $1.4 million to 1,180 students.

Schwartz will work collaboratively with business unit leaders to continuously improve awareness of information security issues and apply security enhancements to further safeguard the company. The new director will oversee risk and vulnerability management, security incident response and disaster recovery planning, security assessments and penetration testing, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Schwartz has 17 years of experience in information security, risk and compliance management. In her most recent positions, she served as the global director of information security and compliance for large companies within the retail and telecommunications industries.

(January 18, 2016) – Summer may be months away, but CoBank and Cellcom have partnered to get ready for summer camp. The companies are donating $5,000 to sponsor Junior Achievement of Brown County’s Be an Entrepreneur Camp, which will take place in June 2016. The camp is a free opportunity for local high school students to spend a week learning from business leaders about being an entrepreneur.
“JA in Brown County hosted JA Be an Entrepreneur Camp for the first time in 2015. Because of tremendous community support, there was no cost to the students to attend,” said Sue Schwartz, Director of JA. “Thanks to partners like CoBank and Cellcom, we look forward to offering this immersive experience again in 2016. With support from community-minded companies like these, we are able to give young people the knowledge they need to start their own business and really empower them to succeed in the real world.”

Nsight Telservices to Select Six Winners
(December 29, 2015) – Nsight Telservices is selecting 6 winners to receive scholarships from the Wisconsin State Telecommunications Foundation (WSTF). The telecommunications scholarships in the amount of $1500 will be awarded to students across the company’s service area.
Two winners will be selected from Niagara or Florence High Schools, and two winners will be selected at Pulaski, Oconto or Oconto Falls High Schools. Students at these schools can visit the guidance office for the application.
One winner will be chosen for students attending high school in Manitowoc or Two Rivers. A final winner will be selected and any student in the Nsight Telservices service area is eligible to apply. This includes students in Brown, Outagamie, Manitowoc, Kewaunee, Door and Marathon counties. Students can visit http://www.wsta.info/?page=foundationApp to download the application. Sixteen $750 scholarships will be awarded
(December 29, 2015) – The online application for Cellcom scholarships is now open. Cellcom will award 16 $750 scholarships to graduating high school seniors across its service area this year.
Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic record, potential to succeed, leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience and an essay on community impact. Financial need is not considered.
Applicants must reside within a county in Wisconsin or Michigan where Cellcom operates and be planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or technical school.
