Jefferson School Adopters Receives $3000 from Cellcom and CoBank through Sharing Success Program
Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity Also Benefits from Matching Gift
Green Bay, WI (November 21, 2016) – Jefferson School Adopters, a group of local businesses and community organizations that volunteer and offer monetary support to Jefferson Elementary School in Green Bay, has received a $3,000 donation from Cellcom and CoBank, a cooperative bank serving vital industries throughout rural America.
Cellcom and its parent company Nsight have been have been long-time supporters of Jefferson School Adopters, providing weekly volunteers, sponsoring field trips and contributing to annual scholarships at Jefferson Elementary School. This donation from Cellcom and CoBank through the Sharing Success program will support much-needed playground improvements at the school.
Cellcom has been honored to partner with many local businesses to support Jefferson Elementary and its students over the years. As a longtime customer of CoBank, the company was proud to use its matching gift program to expand the reach of its community effort and help fund this special project at the school.
The Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity has also received a $1,000 matching donation from Cellcom and CoBank through the Sharing Success program.
Sharing Success was established in 2012 to celebrate the International Year of the Cooperative. The response from the bank’s customers was overwhelmingly positive and the bank has renewed the program each year since. Since the program’s inception, CoBank and its customers have together provided nearly $20 million in support to charitable organizations across the nation.
